“Junior Hornet” Basketball Camp

Eligibility:           Boys and Girls entering grades 1 – 8 for the upcoming 2008-09 school year.

Dates:                   Monday, June 2 – Thursday, June 5

Times:                  5^th – 8^th Graders               7:45 – 9:30 am

                             1^st – 4^th Graders               9:45 – 11:15 am

        Camp Shorts will also be available for purchase at camp.

The “Junior Hornet” Basketball Camp is designed to begin the development of our future Valley Center High School players at an early age, and to make sure the campers have a great deal of FUN as they learn. Players will be introduced to many of the same basketball fundamentals that will be essential at the high school level. Developing a sense of continuity and familiarity for our future players is a key part of building a winning high school program over time. We will also maintain a positive and enthusiastic environment throughout camp, trying our best to assure that each camper has a positive experience. We hope that this camp will be a key part of developing great high school players and building championship basketball programs here in Valley Center.
